Job Summary

Own the strategic voice for IT services, shaping messaging and channel mix to boost stakeholder awareness and collaboration with the USMS vision in mind.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manages Strategic Communication within Business Relationship Management under the Service Delivery Line of Business, advertising and promoting IT services and capabilities through carefully crafted messaging and diverse channels, all aligned with the USMS's vision and values.
  • Uses strong written and verbal communication skills and expertise in crafting strategic messaging, this role ensures clear and effective dissemination of information to enhance stakeholder awareness and collaboration.
  • Has familiarity with IT services and capabilities allowing for targeted promotion, while the ability to use various communication channels supports proactive engagement and feedback.
  • By working with teams, the Communications Specialist contributes to enhanced customer experiences, resource management, and performance requirements such as providing mission awareness data and conducting satisfaction surveys for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years' experience with the role/responsibilities listed above
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree.
