Job Description

Responsibilities

  • This is a not a behind-the-scenes communications position.
  • Cooperative Production is looking for a creative and mission-driven Communications Specialist who can help tell meaningful stories through writing, social media, photography, design, fundraising support, recruitment marketing, and digital communications.
  • The person in this role will regularly visit our residential and day programs to gather stories, capture photos and video, interact with staff and the individuals we support, and create engaging content that reflects the impact of our work throughout Southeastern Massachusetts.
  • This is a full-time, hands-on communications role for someone who enjoys both creativity and connection.

Requirements

  • Writes exceptionally well
  • Understands how to create engaging social media content
  • Has professional experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Can manage multiple projects independently
  • Is comfortable interacting with people in active human services environments
  • Notices meaningful moments and knows how to turn them into compelling content

We also provide Consultation, Career Planning, Job Exploration, and Job Coaching & Support.CO-OP’s Community Day Programs offer life-skills training focusing on social, recreational, and community involvement. Identifying interests, skills, and support needs help to determine how best to assist individuals in pursuing their personal goals and visions. Volunteer work, exercise classes, and music programs are just a few of the many activities from which to choose. Our day programs also offer employment support to eligible individuals interested in part-time work.
