Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce integrated marketing and communications materials across print, digital, web, email, video, and social media platforms to support student engagement, enrollment, retention, and college initiatives.
  • Assess Student Development and Enrollment Management (SDEM) communications, marketing, and branding needs and assist in developing strategies to enhance outreach, visibility, and engagement.
  • Create, edit, and manage content for SDEM communication channels, including social media, email communications, digital displays, publications, and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop student testimonials, success stories, profiles, and other marketing and communications content that promote SDEM programs, services, and initiatives.
  • Manage SDEM social media content and editorial calendar; monitor engagement and recommend opportunities to increase audience reach and impact.
  • Serve as a backup for website updates and maintenance using the college's content management system and basic HTML.
  • Coordinate the development of creative assets and production schedules with internal and external partners to ensure consistency with College branding, messaging, accessibility, and communications standards.
  • Collaborate with the college's marketing and communications office, vendors, the college print shop, Information Technology, and other departments to support SDEM communication and marketing initiatives.
  • Participate in planning content, graphic elements, and formats appropriate to departmental requirements as well as College branding and ADA-compliant standards.
  • Manage SDEM archives of marketing and communications materials and oversee marketing related equipment inventories and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and four years' related experience required.

Preferred

  • Demonstrated experience in communications, marketing, graphic design, digital media, public relations, social media management, website content management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience developing and producing marketing and communications materials for print, digital, web, email, and social media platforms.
  • Experience with photography, videography, and video editing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience creating student testimonials and promotional content.
  • Experience managing marketing and media campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of website content management systems and basic HTML.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and production schedules in a collaborative environment.
  • Availability to work evening and weekend hours.
