Job Summary

Own campus media creation and publication pipeline that spans events, social channels, and campus publications, coordinating vendors and analytics to shape future storytelling.

  • Media Production & Publication: Manage photography, videography, galleries, slideshows, posters, and publishing to websites and digital displays.
  • Channel & Content Strategy: Create and schedule social content on Instagram and LinkedIn, produce Reels and short videos, and support news stories.
  • Planning & Analytics: Track media analytics and calendars, oversee vendor work, and use data to guide future campaigns.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Capture photographs and videos during school events.
  • Curate media galleries and maintain photo and video databases.
  • Create, edit, and publish digital media like Instagram Reels, short films, digital displays, and posters to school websites and portals.
  • Create and publish content for digital screens around campuses.
  • Create and schedule content for social media platforms (i.e. Instagram & LinkedIn).
  • Manage photography and videography calendars and assist with management of outside photo/video contractors.
  • Collaborate with team members to write and publish news stories.
  • Create slideshows for the admissions office and alumni/advancement events.
  • Track data and analytics of digital media and websites to use for planning and strategy development.
  • Update publications, including brochures for auxiliary programs and curriculum guides.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-5 years of experience that includes internal or external communications, photography and video production, and/or media management.
  • Organized, self-directed, flexible, able to shift tasks based on changing priorities.
  • Experience and comfort using photo and video editing software such as Photoshop, Lightroom, iMovie, and Final Cut Pro.
  • Experience creating in design software such as inDesign, Canva, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong follow-through.
  • Approaches work collaboratively and works successfully in a team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in an independent school environment is a plus.
