Job Summary

Own the ROOTS recruitment materials and community outreach, drive grant-related activities toward goals, and provide progress updates to executive leadership; anticipate occasional travel and weekend work.

  • Lead development of recruiting materials and community outreach to support ROOTS program objectives.
  • Coordinate grant-related activities with the grant team to identify eligible training candidates and achieve grant goals.
  • Provide regular progress updates to executive leadership and ensure timely grant reporting.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Designing and distributing recruiting materials, representing the ROOTS program at community events, supporting the grant team in identifying eligible training candidates, developing and implementing grant related activities to work toward grant goals.
  • Updating Trager executive staff on grant progress and meeting required grant reporting deadlines.
  • This position may require occasional travel to meet with others. May also require occasional weekend work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred

  • Previous work experience on grants, experience in community health work, and knowledge of various rural community resources and services.
  • Previous work with professional teams and in the healthcare setting to ensure an understanding of evaluation, grant implementation and work applications for community health work.
  • Experience using digital tools to develop effective recruitment materials.
