3.9 Glassdoor

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is a leading health care nonprofit and driving force in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis. Guided by a multi-year strategy and deep partnership with the CF community, we are focused on meeting today’s urgent challenges and advancing tomorrow’s scientific breakthroughs while shaping the systems, policies, and practices that influence care, access, and innovation for people with CF. The Foundation has a strong track record of impact. Nearly every CF therapy available today was made possible with our support. CF was once considered a childhood disease with limited survival into adulthood. Today, adults with the disease are living longer, fuller lives. But there is no cure for CF — and although treatments available today can significantly improve health, many continue to experience complications and infections. That’s why we are driven by a deep sense of urgency and commitment to innovation, from research and care to advocacy and support. At the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, we believe every person with CF deserves the opportunity to lead a long, fulfilling life. That’s why we’re committed to advancing health experiences and outcomes for all people with the disease. CF can affect people from every racial and ethnic background, and no two journeys with CF are the same — each is shaped by a blend of identity, health, life circumstances, where someone lives, and more. Headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, the Foundation also operates a research lab in Lexington, MA and dozens of chapters around the country. The Foundation offers in-person and remote roles and is committed to fostering a mission-driven workplace environment that attracts and supports talented individuals from all backgrounds. We are a donor-supported nonprofit, an accredited charity of the Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance, and a recipient of Candid’s Platinum Seal of Transparency.
