Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Communications & Marketing Intern
  • In this role you will help create engaging content that highlights Alaska Behavioral Health’s services and impact by producing video, website, and social media content by interviewing staff, attending trainings and team meetings, and capturing day-to-day moments across the organization.
  • Representing Alaska Behavioral Health at community outreach events
  • Assisting with website updates and content revisions
  • Organizing photos and digital media
  • Supporting general communications and marketing projects as needed

Requirements

  • Social media savvy, with experience in creating short-form video content (phone footage, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and solid writing skills
  • Proficiency in grammar and spelling
  • Experience using Canva and/or similar design tools
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn

Preferred

  • An interest in mental health and coursework in fields such as psychology or social work is a plus.
