Job Summary

Own and coordinate corporate communications for internal and external stakeholders, translating strategy into messaging across channels while driving change initiatives and cross-functional alignment.

  • Strategy to channel: lead messaging across portals, video, social, email and intranet for the assigned function and leadership.
  • Change and engagement: partner with leaders to plan and execute change communications that inform and mobilize; share stories that reinforce the business vision.
  • Collaboration and storytelling: work with stakeholders across functions to align on priorities, events, and enterprise-wide communications initiatives.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the communications lead for the assigned function(s) and the respective leadership, supporting both internal- and external-facing needs. Design and execute communication strategies, plans and approaches for the assigned function(s), associated programs and initiatives. Deliver compelling and aligned messaging and ensure stakeholders are informed, inspired and engaged.
  • Manage all related communications channels, including portal, omni-channel platform, video, social media, SharePoint and email as it relates to the assigned organization(s). Drive continuous improvement in all functional communications processes. Work closely with function’s leadership to develop communication approach and execute upon it for their various stakeholders.
  • Work and coordinate cross-functionally to support the strategic communications and change management communication needs of assigned organizations and leadership.
  • Support major project initiatives from both a strategic communications and tactical implementation perspective.
  • Engage as member of the Corporate Communications team to support aligned and coordinated targeted and enterprise-wide communications. Contribute to the overall team through best practice-sharing and ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in department meetings and support various events and activities.
  • Lead and develop communication strategies and approaches that reach targeted internal and external stakeholder(s).
  • Drive associate awareness, alignment and action to support functional goals and priorities as well as company vision, values, strategy and initiatives.
  • Support desired business outcomes through message development, appropriate channel mix and creative. Leverage change management tools as appropriate or necessary.
  • Build engagement among associates and leaders in a manner that builds trust, inspires teamwork and gets business results.
