Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Executive Social & Digital Strategy
  • - Develop and execute a focused, modern social and digital strategy for executive voice, aligned to:
  • - Washington state policy priorities
  • - Community engagement and local impact
  • - Philanthropy and corporate citizenship
  • - Continuously test and evolve approaches to how executive voice shows up across platforms and formats
  • - Ensure alignment with enterprise narratives while maintaining a distinct, authentic, and forward-looking voice
  • Content Development & Storytelling
  • - Create and manage high-quality, always-on content, including:
  • - Social posts and threads (primarily LinkedIn and emerging platforms)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years experience in communications, social media, or digital storytelling, or related experience
  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting executive voice, thought leadership, or high-visibility communicators
  • Writing and editorial skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics
  • Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to experiment with new digital formats and platforms
  • Proven ability to operate with sound judgment in issues-sensitive environments
  • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, matrixed organizations
  • Familiarity with public policy, legal, or regulatory environments
  • Experience in regional or community-based storytelling (e.g., state/local policy, philanthropy)
  • Experience using analytics tools to evaluate digital performance
