Job Description
Responsibilities
- Produce content for and help manage our LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok accounts.
- Write press releases and conduct outreach to newspapers, TV, radio, and podcasts.
- Draft emails to our network and help manage our contact list.
- Help edit our website in Framer.
- Design flyers, presentations, and social media graphics using Canva, PowerPoint, and other platforms.
Requirements
- Experience in social media, press, communications, and/or web design
- Strong, clear writing skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of following through on multiple assignments
- Fully remote, volunteer position with flexible hours
- DMV-based interns may be asked to assist with in-person events such as Hill Days or advocacy meetings on an as-needed basis
