Job Description

Responsibilities

Produce content for and help manage our LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok accounts.
Write press releases and conduct outreach to newspapers, TV, radio, and podcasts.
Draft emails to our network and help manage our contact list.
Help edit our website in Framer.
Design flyers, presentations, and social media graphics using Canva, PowerPoint, and other platforms.

Requirements

Experience in social media, press, communications, and/or web design
Strong, clear writing skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of following through on multiple assignments
Fully remote, volunteer position with flexible hours
DMV-based interns may be asked to assist with in-person events such as Hill Days or advocacy meetings on an as-needed basis
