Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement the Village’s communication and media engagement strategies
  • Develop engaging content for social media, newsletters, website updates, and community outreach campaigns
  • Design newsletters, recreation guides, graphics, and other visual materials
  • Oversee website content and explore opportunities for improved design and user experience
  • Support public events and outreach efforts through promotion, logistics, and communication materials

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field
  • at least three years of experience in communications, engagement, public affairs, or marketing (internship and volunteer experience may be considered) preferred
  • and a valid driver’s license

Preferred

  • Internship and volunteer experience may be considered
  • Experience in recreation, events, hospitality, education, or senior services
