Job Description

Responsibilities

  • 1. Donor Communications - Develop and implement CPRN’s donor-facing communications strategy , driving grassroots and major gifts fundraising growth.
  • - Draft compelling donor appeals, stewardship emails, annual fund messaging, year-end drives, and giving day content .
  • - Translate CPRN’s research, registry insights, and program accomplishments into clear, engaging philanthropy‑oriented and donor-facing narratives and impact stories .
  • - Maintain an annual donor communications and fundraising calendar aligned with CPRN’s milestones and campaigns.
  • - Create donor impact stories using data, community voices, and outcomes sourced collaboratively from CPRN leadership and the DECE.
  • - Collaborate with the CEO on donor recognition and philanthropic messaging.
  • - Track fundraising metrics and share results with leadership
  • 2. Foundation & Development Support - Conduct foundation prospect research aligned with CPRN’s philanthropic priorities.
  • - Draft letters of inquiry (LOIs) and introductory materials for foundations—focused on donor and program impact stories rather than full grant proposals.
  • - Collaborate with CPRN leadership and the Director of Education & Community Engagement to incorporate educational and community engagement outcomes into grant related materials.
  • - Support major gift cultivation and stewardship updates and simple moves management documentation.
  • 3. General Communications - Produce high‑quality blogs, newsletter content, and updates that translate CPRN’s research, quality‑improvement work, and registry developments into clear, engaging stories.
  • - Develop summaries of CPRN’s research findings, QI initiatives, and program outcomes—using guidance from research and education leaders for newsletters, emails, social media and blogs.
  • - Increase / expand CPRN’s national reach, visibility, partnerships, and community impact through compelling narratives that reinforce the value of CPRN.
  • - Manage CPRN’s social media presence end to end, including content planning, designing, producing, posting, audience engagement, and performance analytics.
  • - Create content calendars featuring donor calls-to-action, impact stories, research highlights, and annual fund messaging that captures planning across both fundraising and communications work
  • - Integrate DECE‑provided educational elements as it fits into the social media strategy and calendar.
  • - Email Marketing, Segmentation & Analytics - Manage email segmentation and distribution (Mailchimp), ensuring tailored messages for donors, prospects, and general audience.
  • - Monitor engagement metrics (open rate, views, clickthrough, conversions) and recommend improvements.
  • - Produce quarterly analytics reports summarizing engagement trends.
