Job Summary

Own the organization\'s communications and donor/member data ecosystem, leading newsletters, website, social media, storytelling, and campaign coordination while ensuring data integrity and reporting.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and distribute email newsletters.
  • Manage website content and updates.
  • Manage MCBC's social media presence.
  • Write stories highlighting advocacy successes, community events, and member impact.
  • Coordinate communications for campaigns, events, membership drives, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Monitor communications performance and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels.
  • Serve as administrator for MCBC's CRM/database.
  • Maintain accurate donor, member, volunteer, and constituent records.
  • Process donations, memberships, and acknowledgments.

Requirements

  • An excellent writer and communicator.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable managing databases and learning new technology.
  • Passionate about creating outstanding member and donor experiences.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Excited about MCBC's mission of making bicycling safer and more accessible.

Preferred

  • CRM or nonprofit database management (Salesforce, EveryAction, Bloomerang, Neon, or similar).
  • Email marketing platforms.
  • Website content management systems.
  • Social media management.
  • Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Canva or other graphic design software is a plus.
