Job Summary

Own editorial and content execution across newsletters, announcements, and campaigns, shaping messaging for internal audiences and community partners while ensuring brand voice and measurable impact.

  • Content ownership: write, edit, and produce newsletters, announcements, and campaigns for multiple channels.
  • Messaging leadership: support the PIO and collaborate with the Communications team to align with agency goals and brand voice.
  • Editorial rigor: review and refine messaging for clarity, accuracy, and audience resonance, monitoring impact.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and produce engaging content for newsletters (internal and external), announcements, and campaigns
  • Support the PIO in crafting, refining, and delivering clear, consistent messaging for the agency
  • Review, proofread, and edit current messaging to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand alignment
  • Develop content for multiple channels, including email, print, website, and social media.
  • Tailor communications to reach and resonate with varied audiences, from employees to community partners
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to ensure all messaging supports agency goals
  • Assist in preparing talking points, press materials, and stakeholder communications
  • Provide editorial guidance to maintain brand voice, tone, and style consistency
  • Monitor and evaluate communications for clarity, engagement, and impact
  • Partner with departments to gather stories, updates, and information for internal communications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of three years of professional writing or editorial experience (preferably in a public-facing communications role)
  • Experience with newsletter production and website content management systems
  • Knowledge of AP Style and best practices in professional communications

Preferred

  • Proficiency with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) a plus
