Farrow & Ball – Color Consultant, Dallas (25 hours per week) We are currently looking for a driven individual to join our team in Dallas as a Color Consultant. We are offering this this position on a part - time basis 25 hours per week, working on a hybrid basis between customer visits, showroom visits and home. Farrow & Ball is a luxury British lifestyle brand that prides itself in creating richly pigmented paint and handcrafted wallpaper, using print methods dating back 300 years and the finest quality ingredients. As the Color Consultant you will provide an in-home & online color consultancy service that adheres to Farrow & Ball standards, whilst meeting the customer’s needs and providing an excellent service that gives them the confidence to use Farrow & Ball products. This role will be a mix of Colour Consultancy as well as hours worked in the location Showroom. What we expect from you Key Responsibilities: Proactively sell the color consultancy service and F&B products Managing the end-to-end customer journey ensuring appropriate pre and post-visit follow up, facilitation of post consultancy orders, early resolution of queries or questions Visiting customer’s home (business, commercial space etc.) to advise and devise appropriate colour schemes (paint & paper) for the customer’s requirements Leading a seamless experience for the customer whilst also presenting yourself in a professional manner Producing detailed specifications to include chosen colors, wallpaper, quantity, finishes, and third party/licensed products and costings Promoting the F&B unique point of difference to drive the value for money proposition Showcasing a proactive approach to KPI Target achievements monthly Offering Virtual Colour Consultancy service where appropriate & geographical needs cannot be met ensuring the same high standards and behaviors are applied Engaging with customers over an online portal to deliver a virtual ‘in-home’ décor service as required by the client Adapting pre and post-visit practices in order to effectively support a Virtual Colour Consultancy Fulfilling duties of a Showroom Assistant during your Showrooms hours, with an additional focus on the promotion of the CC service & the closing of sales for the SR Training of new members of the team to instill general interior design knowledge to support in-store sales & how to promote & close the sale on the CC service Assisting Managers in local marketing & event exercises, such as ‘Meet the Expert’ & promos in line with the marketing calendar Key Attributes: Strong sales acumen – able to close, cross and up-sell, maximizing all sales opportunities presented and identifying growth opportunities Interior Design knowledge/experience – able to create inspirational spaces and be aware of trends and influencers across all platforms (print, online, social media etc.). Experience of working with strong product Expertise and technical Expertise – understanding structures, lighting, substrates, spatial awareness Ability to match and articulate appropriate color schemes to brief, properties, and/or look. Understanding of different property types, periods, locations etc. Understanding of color psychology and translating these to F&B color schemes.
