Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Advances the CRAA's long-term strategy by aligning executive stakeholders, guiding operational priorities, and championing a high-performing organizational culture.
  • Cultivates, establishes, and maintains positive relationships with board members, community partners, governmental officials, policy makers, and/or their key staff members, and key internal and external organizations primarily at the local, state, and federal levels.
  • Provides guidance and expertise on all local, state, and federal legislative and policy matters that affect CRAA.
  • Leads strategic direction and operational alignment while building strong stakeholder partnerships and reinforcing a culture that supports organizational success.
  • Leads the development and execution of strategic internal and external marketing and communication plans.
  • Ensures CRAA’s brand management and corporate identity by overseeing the department in executing initiatives as needed.
  • Leads the strategic vision for CRAA’s customer experience strategy, ensuring high-quality service for passengers through collaboration with internal departments and tenants.
  • Ensures that CRAA is effectively and strategically involved with relevant external groups, constituencies, and coalitions.
  • Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to solve tactical matters such as issues related to tax abatement, TIF’s, zoning, infrastructure improvements, permitting, and inspections.

Requirements

  • Strong executive presence and business acumen
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and confidence while building credibility with executive leadership, governing bodies and key stakeholders
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience working with the local, state, and federal levels of government, developing and executing public and government affairs strategies and leading communications and/or marketing initiatives
  • Previous experience leading people and high performing teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in public administration, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test, which includes testing for marijuana (medical marijuana cards are not acceptable)
