Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the profitability, promotion, pricing, and merchandising plans for E&O products
  • Work with the commercial teams to develop and execute the channel marketing strategies and plans to sell E&O inventory
  • Collaborate with the connected commerce team to ensure accurate and optimal merchandising and marketing tactics support your business strategies, including (1) recommending daily pricing and promotional periods for key products in the online assortment and (2) verifying online placements and accuracy
  • Analyze and track POS, inventory, traffic, and other key success metrics to understand the health of the business
  • Work across internal departments and systems to ensure approved pricing and product allocation follows your strategies, and that sell-out strategies are aligned with product, brand, and trade channels
  • Partner with the Sales and Finance teams to manage listings, maximizing sales and profitability via mix management, promotional opportunities, and pricing actions.
  • Make sound business decisions to drive top and bottom lines, driven by a holistic understanding of the channel P&L.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field; 3-5 years relevant experience in Sales and/or Marketing within the consumer good and/or eCommerce industry
  • Self-motivated, high energy, persistent, and sense of urgency
  • A sharp eye for detail, analysis, strategy, plus a passion for accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and advanced functions for sorting and managing data fields.
  • Demonstrated success in problem solving - must be creative, innovative; Ability to organize and prioritize and work cross functionally
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and overlapping deadlines, that often flex with the dynamic nature of eCommerce businesses
  • Superior Interpersonal skills - proficient in both written and verbal communications
  • Knowledge of construction tools and accessory products is a plus (placed in nice_to_have)
