Job Summary

Own and drive United Way workplace campaigns end-to-end, partnering with ECCs to plan and execute campaigns, deliver engaging education sessions, track progress and outcomes, and maintain accurate records and strong stakeholder relationships.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop a working knowledge of United Way's mission, community impact initiatives, and funded programs, participating in required meetings, training sessions, and campaign-related events as assigned
  • Partner with Employee Campaign Coordinators (ECCs) at assigned organizations to plan, coordinate, and execute successful workplace giving campaigns
  • Provide campaign resources, support, and guidance to ECCs throughout the campaign cycle, including the collection and reconciliation of pledge forms and contributions, as needed.
  • Deliver engaging presentations, both virtual and in person, to educate employees about United Way's mission, programs, services, and community impact.
  • Monitor campaign performance,
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for assigned campaign accounts and activities.
  • Track campaign progress, forecast results, and provide regular updates to United Way staff regarding assigned accounts.
  • Conduct regular virtual and in-person check-ins with campaign stakeholders to assess progress, address challenges, and celebrate successes.
  • Serve as a professional ambassador for United Way by promoting community engagement, philanthropy, and volunteerism throughout assigned campaigns
  • Support and manage assigned workplace campaign accounts throughout the campaign cycle.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Experience using virtual meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Combination of office, virtual, and community-based work environments.
  • Occasional evening or non-traditional work hours may be required to support campaign activities and events.
  • Local travel required throughout the campaign season (approximately 50%, subject to change).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Employment is contingent upon a successful background check.
