Job Description

Responsibilities

  • This pricing manager role for Canadian retail channel will work closely with sales, product, supply, finance and other teams, to propose retail pricing strategy that drives revenue, market share and optimize profitability, while maintain channel harmony among brick and mortar accounts, etail accounts, and distributors within the retail channel
  • Develop and execute comprehensive pricing strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions
  • Analyze market data, competitor pricing, and industry trends to identify pricing opportunities and risks
  • Build and maintain pricing models, forecasts, and financial projections using advanced analytical techniques
  • Monitor pricing performance metrics and ROI, providing regular reports and actionable recommendations to leadership
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform pricing positioning and strategy refinement
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure pricing alignment with business goals and customer needs
  • Evaluate pricing elasticity and demand patterns to optimize price points for maximum profitability
  • Prepare detailed pricing analyses, business cases, and presentations for stakeholder review and decision-making
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance pricing efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in pricing analysis, marketing analytics, business analysis, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Demonstrated experience with competitive analysis and market research methodologies
  • Solid understanding of pricing strategy, revenue optimization, and financial principles
  • Excellent written/ verbal communication skills and strong negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Proficiency in data analysis and ability to work with large datasets

Nice To Have

  • Experience with pricing software, revenue management tools, or pricing optimization platforms
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages for data manipulation
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics
  • Background in economics, finance, or business strategy
  • Experience in SaaS, technology, or B2B pricing environments
