Job Summary

Own the design and execution of the Digital Energy offer strategy for the Buildings segment, aligning segment needs with DE Solutions roadmaps and driving cross-functional collaboration across marketing, sales enablement, and solution architecture to deliver differentiated value.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Structure and animate the operating model between Buildings Segment teams and DE Solutions offer teams
  • Establish and animate a structured operating model between Buildings Segment teams (including segment leaders for retail, hotels, healthcare and real estate, segments marketing and solution architects) and the relevant DE Solutions offer management teams across leagues (e.g. systems, hardware etc.)
  • Ensure this operating model supports Buildings growth through stronger Digital Energy value propositions, more adapted offers and broader DE portfolio saturation beyond traditional BMS / RMS plays, including power domain related offers where relevant.
  • Define segment value propositions for Digital Energy offers
  • Capture and synthesize Buildings segment insights from segments leaders, segments marketing, Solution Architects and selected customer / field inputs, translating them into actionable inputs for DE Solutions offer managers.
  • Strengthen offer-level market and customer understanding within DE Solutions, complementing segment-level views with more granular insights on customer needs, use cases, competitive dynamics and offer gaps.
  • Shape the Digital Energy contribution to Buildings segment value propositions • Shape and maintain the Digital Energy offer contribution to Buildings segment value propositions, in close collaboration with Buildings Segment Marketing and relevant DE Solutions offer teams.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales Enablement and Activation teams as an offer-management SME to translate these DE related value propositions into positioning, messaging and enablement content, while asset development, campaign execution and activation remain owned by those teams.
  • Prioritize and integrate Buildings segment requirements into DE Solutions offer backlogs
  • Work with Buildings Solution Architects and segments leaders to structure segment and architecture-driven needs into actionable requirements for DE Solutions offers.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Buildings segments and customer environments, with solid fluency in several of the following: Retail, Hotels, Healthcare, Real Estate, Education and Warehousing / logistics; able to quickly build understanding where prior exposure is more limited.
  • Good awareness of Digital Energy systems and offer environments, with the ability to think in solution terms across core systems such as BMS / EPMS, RMS and Foresight-enabled systems, as well as relevant hardware and field capabilities such as meters, controllers, sensors and building automation products; deep expertise in every domain is not required.
  • Strong offer management / product management fluency, able to engage credibly with offer managers, understand roadmap and portfolio logic, and connect segment needs with scalable offer development, customer value and competitive differentiation.
  • Comfortable in versatile, cross-functional discussions, working effectively with Segment Commercial Leaders, Segment Marketing, Solution Architects, R&D / engineering and offer management teams; able to move between market, use case, offer and technical conversations.
  • Customer-centric and comfortable in customer-facing situations when needed, able to support discussions with customers or customer-facing teams by bringing offer-management judgment, portfolio understanding and clear articulation of Digital Energy value.
  • Excellent synthesis, communication and influence skills, able to structure complex inputs, create clarity across stakeholders, challenge assumptions, arbitrate trade-offs and drive decisions without direct authority.
  • Typically 8–12 years of experience, ideally in offer management or product management within building automation, BMS / EPMS, digital energy or adjacent systems environments. Profiles coming from commercial or segment roles can also be relevant if they bring strong exposure to Buildings segments, customer needs and solution selling. Business, marketing or engineering background is a plus.
  • Role will require regional / global travels across the year (up to ~20% of the time).

  • For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 168,800 - USD 253,200 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
