Job Summary

Own brand, marketing, and partnerships for Folklore, shaping voice, channels, and campaigns to drive growth.

  • Own brand voice across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and campaigns.
  • Must-have: 5+ years in brand or marketing with cross-channel execution.
  • Standout: Strong relationship-building that opens opportunities and partnerships.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Brand Voice & Identity - You are the steward of how Folklore sounds, looks, and feels across every channel. You keep the brand consistent, compelling, and evolving.
  • Social Media & Content Strategy - You own our presence on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest — setting the strategy, directing the content specialist, and ensuring every post reflects where the brand is going, not just where it’s been.
  • Website - You own the website as a marketing and conversion tool — product presentation, catalog experience, landing pages, and content. You work with our tech partner on infrastructure but you drive what it says and how it performs.
  • Campaign Strategy & Execution - You define campaigns and ensure all channels — social, email, paid, partnerships — are aligned and moving toward the same goal.
  • Industry Presence & Relationships - You show up — networking events, industry organizations, vendor and planner relationships. You spot opportunities, open doors, and bring Folklore into the right rooms.
  • Corporate & DMC Marketing - You own the marketing side of our corporate growth strategy — positioning, outreach support, and campaign strategy that moves corporate clients and DMCs from awareness to inquiry.
  • Loyalty Program Activation - You bring our tiered trade program to life — communications, perks, early access campaigns, and the ongoing experience of being a Folklore partner.
  • Content Direction - You brief, direct, and hold accountable the content specialist. You set the editorial calendar, define the creative direction, and ensure output reflects the brand.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in brand, marketing, or business development — ideally in events, hospitality, or a creative industry
  • Proven ability to build and maintain a brand voice across multiple channel
  • A track record of building relationships that generate opportunity — not just awareness
  • Fluency in Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest — you understand how each platform works and what performs on each
  • Experience directing content creators, contractors, or junior team members
  • Someone comfortable with HubSpot or similar CRM — you don’t need to build it, but you need to use it
  • Enough SEO fluency to shape content strategy and brief technical partners intelligently
  • Enough digital fluency to brief and evaluate paid media and email campaigns
  • A genuine eye for aesthetics — Folklore is a beautiful brand and this role requires someone who gets that
