Job Summary

Own near and long term RTD innovation with end-to-end launch responsibility plus influence on a 3-5 year pipeline and cross functional GTM alignment.

  • Innovation ownership: lead consumer learning plans, packaging, and formulation for RTD launches.
  • Pipeline strategy: help shape the 3-5 year plan using trends and insights to hit strategic priorities.
  • Go-to-market: collaborate with marketing and sales to craft messaging and GTM decisions across cross-functional partners.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Bring near-term innovation to market – You will be responsible for all facets of developing and launching new RTD products, including the briefing, development and implementation of consumer learning plans, packaging graphics, product formulation and much more.
  • Support long-term innovation strategy – You will support the team in building the 3-5 year pipeline, leveraging macrotrends and consumer and business insight to craft a strategy that will deliver against our strategic priorities today and tomorrow.
  • Support marketing and commercial objectives – You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to craft the customer and consumer-facing messaging and influence the go-to-market strategy for our products.
  • Leverage leadership and strategic thinking skills – You will influence and inspire across internal and external cross-functional partners across Starbucks and Pepsi.

Requirements

  • Progressive experience in product innovation, brand management, marketing, retail, or strategy consulting (5-7 years).
  • Progressive experience leading large cross-functional projects - especially those with high levels of ambiguity - and gaining alignment with multiple levels of leaders.
  • Progressive experience building or collaborating on consumer learning plans
  • Ability to synthesize consumer and sales data to build strong, data-driven recommendations and strategies
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines (even in the face of shifting scope)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to independently resolve issues or debates across multiple stakeholders (in most situations).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • MBA preferred.
