Responsibilities

• Own Bland's Marketing Design
• Own the visual design direction across the marketing organization.
• Develop and maintain the systems, guidelines, templates, and visual language that make Bland consistently look exceptional across web, campaigns, events, content, social, and product launches.
• Raise the creative bar across everything marketing produces.
• Own the Website
• Take end-to-end ownership of Bland's marketing website.
• Keep it current with new products, launches, case studies, campaigns, and messaging.
• Continuously improve its design, UX, performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and overall quality.
• Identify things that feel broken, outdated, inconsistent, or mediocre—and fix them.
• Design in Code

Requirements

• Exceptional Design Taste
• You have an unusually high bar for design.
• You understand why something feels premium, modern, intentional, or generic.
• You have strong instincts around typography, composition, hierarchy, spacing, interaction, and visual storytelling.

Preferred

• Degree or formal training in design, graphic design, interaction design, or a related field
• Experience designing for high-growth technology companies
• Strong portfolio of brand and digital design work
• Frontend development experience
• Experience with React, Next.js, HTML/CSS, or similar technologies
• Experience using Claude Code, Cursor, or other AI coding agents
• Experience building or maintaining design systems
• Experience with motion design or interactive web experiences
• Experience working closely with engineers
• Experience with Figma and modern creative tooling
