Job Summary

Own and shape sponsorship consulting by turning datasets and industry trends into clear client actions; manage client relationships and internal stakeholders; push tool development and contribute to thought leadership in the sponsorship space.

  • Interpret first- and third-party data to extract insights and craft strategic recommendations for sponsorship programs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with client counterparts and internal leadership, translating insights into digestible takeaways and guiding next steps.
  • Support sponsorship methodology, benchmarking, and industry monitoring to spot trends and inform growth through RFPs, pitches, and client deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Support client deliverables related to sponsorship consulting and industry research & insights.
  • Deliverables include: strategic POVs, sponsorship evaluations, property analyses, competitive audits, landscape overviews, and other related work.
  • Interpret relevant first and third-party data sets, inclusive of research, and uncover key insights for client consumption.
  • Ability to distill findings into digestible takeaways and present recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise and cultivate relationships with client counterparts on any day-to-day work that arises.
  • Serve as a point of contact for Business Leadership and other internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and support areas of sponsorship tool development or methodological enhancement.
  • Support thought leadership initiatives, conducting research and monitoring the industry and landscape based on key advancements and innovations.
  • Engage in trend spotting, looking for correlations or relationships between performance factors and outcomes across the sponsorship space.
  • Assist various internal and external projects related to both existing clients as well as any growth-focused initiatives (e.g., RFP responses, pitches, presentations).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Marketing or a related field of study.
  • 1+ years of client leadership/client management and sponsorship experience.
  • Knowledge of or desire to learn the sponsorship landscape as it relates to sports, music & entertainment or arts & culture.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills; adept at communicating effectively and influencing clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experienced in strategic thinking and ability to see, articulate, and drive to the big picture.
  • Passion and solution-orientated approach to problem solving.
  • Capacity to storytell through the use of data and insights.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-changing environment with multiple priorities; ability to prioritize and multitask accordingly.
  • Displays natural intellectual curiosity – always seeks to understand the “why”.

Preferred

  • Agency or other relevant sponsorship experience preferred, but not required.
