Job Summary

Own the planning and execution of branded grassroots sports events, partnering with clubs, vendors, and internal teams to deliver authentic product demonstrations, measure impact, and uncover opportunities that move the brand forward.

  • Event Strategy & Execution: Lead ideation, staffing, logistics, and on-site activations for baseball and softball events with external partners and internal teams.
  • Impact & Insights: Track event performance and gather player feedback to inform product development and future activations.
  • Market & Partner Intelligence: Monitor competitive activity and industry trends, translating insights into cross-functional recommendations.

Job Description

Own and drive branded grassroots sports activations from ideation to on-site execution, partnering with clubs, vendors, and internal teams to build brand preference, measure impact, and uncover new opportunities across baseball and softball communities.

  • Growth/Experience: Lead ideation, creation, strategy, staffing, and logistics for branded baseball, fastpitch, and slowpitch events with external and internal partners.
  • Performance & Insights: Analyze event metrics and player feedback to inform future activations and product development.
  • Competitive & Strategic Insight: Monitor competitors and industry trends, then translate findings into actionable recommendations for product, commercial, and marketing teams.
  • Asset & On-site Management: Oversee marketing assets and activations with vendors and sponsors to uphold brand/product standards and deliver best-in-class experiences.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage event logistics and product demonstrations, educating parents and athletes about launches.
  • Partnership Development: Build relationships with tournament directors, travel organizations, and coaches to surface new business opportunities.
  • Budget & ROI: Optimize spend to maximize ROI while aligning with financial objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with event, brand marketing, and product teams to ensure cohesive execution.

Requirements

  • This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years of Sales, Grassroots, Customer Service, and/or Event Marketing experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, a minimum of 5 years of Sales, Grassroots, Customer Service, and/or Event Marketing experience is required.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time.

Preferred

  • Former athlete and/or avid fan with authentic voice for fastpitch and softball audiences
  • Solid understanding of Baseball, Fastpitch, and Slowpitch industries, promotions, sponsorships, and event marketing
  • Strategic thinker with excellent execution capabilities
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Willingness to drive change with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Financial acumen for budget management and inventory control
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-driven with high energy; travel up to 50% of the time
