Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure medical accuracy and strategic alignment across all promotional content
  • Manage a higher volume of deliverables across complex, fast-moving accounts
  • Interpret clinical literature independently and translate it into clear strategic direction
  • Apply scientific evidence to shape messaging, narratives, and promotional strategy
  • Oversee medical review readiness and support MLR submission strategy and alignment
  • Partner closely with creative, account, and strategy teams to keep work scientifically sound and strategically consistent
  • Contribute to and help shape medical points of view (POVs) across brands and therapy areas
  • Support and lead portions of brand planning from a medical strategy perspective
  • Maintain scientific integrity under pressure and tight timelines
  • Elevate the quality, accuracy, and cohesion of junior team outputs

Requirements

  • Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent experience preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in medical strategy, medical communications, or pharma advertising
  • Strong mastery of interpreting and applying clinical data to promotional strategy
  • Deep understanding of MLR processes and regulatory expectations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Trusted partner to creative, account, and client teams
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to stay accurate, calm, and decisive under pressure
  • Experience guiding or mentoring junior team members
