Job Summary

Own luxury fashion communications across day-to-day client contact, strategy execution, and media relationships that drive editorial placements and brand activations.

  • Own the strategy execution loop for campaigns, events, and press activity to ensure high standards and client objectives.
  • Shape media relations and talent partnerships to secure editorial placements, VIP features, and influencer activations.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Client Management – Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, managing communications, providing regular updates, and ensuring the seamless execution of all account activities.
  • Strategy Execution – Execute annual, quarterly, and campaign-specific communications strategies developed by senior leadership, ensuring all initiatives are delivered to a high standard and aligned with client objectives.
  • Media Relations & Editorial Placement – Pitch and secure editorial, feature, news, and VIP placements across print, digital, and social media. Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, stylists, influencers, talent representatives, and key industry contacts.
  • Influencer & VIP Relations – Execute organic and paid VIP placement initiatives, manage influencer seeding programs and paid partnerships, and oversee talent contracts, campaign deliverables, and timelines.
  • Events & Brand Activations – Plan and execute events, press previews, runway shows, presentations, retail activations, and brand experiences, overseeing logistics, timelines, and post-event reporting.
  • Communications Materials – Develop press materials, including press releases, collection notes, media alerts, briefing documents, agendas, and presentation decks.
  • Reporting & Account Performance – Track account KPIs, oversee client reporting, and ensure all internal trackers, reporting documents, and status updates remain accurate and up to date.
  • Team Leadership – Oversee the Communications Assistant, providing day-to-day guidance, training, and support across sample trafficking, media outreach, reporting, and account coordination. Support the onboarding and development of interns and junior team members.
  • Partnerships & Retail Marketing – Support the execution of retail marketing initiatives, brand partnerships, paid editorial opportunities, and other client collaborations in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Industry Knowledge & Operational Excellence – Monitor the media, fashion, and cultural landscape to identify opportunities for clients. Maintain exceptional attention to detail, proactively manage priorities, and ensure all work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and with strong follow-through.
Requirements
  • 3–4 years of experience within luxury fashion communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the fashion media landscape, including editors, stylists, talent, influencers, and key industry contacts.
  • Proven ability to independently manage day-to-day client accounts and successfully execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience developing press materials, presentations, and client communications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience planning and executing events, runway shows, presentations, press previews, and brand activations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and develop junior team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Launchmetrics, Muck Rack, and other industry-standard communications tools.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, with strong ownership and follow-through.
  • Genuine passion for fashion, culture, and the creative industries, with a strong understanding of the luxury landscape.
