Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Drive and synthesize category research, market trends, and consumer insights to architect the 3-to-5-year category strategy.
  • Translate global brand equity into local market win-strategies, ensuring Garnier remains a market leader in Hair Color.
  • Lead the annual budget planning and E10/full-year forecasting processes in partnership with Finance.
  • Influence the broader Division strategy by representing the Hair Color business in executive-level forums.
  • Own the end-to-end "Go-To-Market" process for multiple large-scale product launches.
  • Collaborate with the DMI (Global Marketing) and International teams to ensure the US pipeline is robust and consumer-relevant.
  • Lead the development of "breakthrough" new product concepts tailored to the US consumer.
  • Partner intimately with creative and media agencies to deliver high-impact, data-driven consumer communications.
  • Oversee a 360° ecosystem, from traditional media to digital, social, and influencer-led activations that drive "earn-and-own" media.
  • Champion "Beauty Tech" initiatives to personalize the consumer journey in the hair color aisle.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years of business experience with a proven track record in strategic marketing or category management.
  • Industry: Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or the Beauty industry is highly preferred; experience specifically within the Hair Color category is a significant plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Analytical Rigor: Expert-level ability to interpret complex quantitative data and translate it into actionable business strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: A "hands-on" leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a "test and learn" mentality.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels (local and international).
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced PC proficiency (MS Office Suite), particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
