  • Strategy & Leadership: Own the integrated advancement marketing and communications strategy across fundraising and alumni engagement.
  • Brand & Campaign Execution: Partner with University Relations to ensure brand standards and unified messaging across campaigns.
  • Content & Proposals: Oversee development materials, proposals, storytelling, and multi-channel campaign communications.
  • Team & Operations: Manage a high-performing team, staffing, workflows, performance, and development.
  • Data & Insights: Drive data-driven planning with audience segmentation, analytics, and market research.
  • Marketing Tech & Automation: Govern marketing automation and CRM integrations, journeys, and data integrity.
  • Planning & Budgets: Create annual work plans and budgets for advancement communications.
  • Executive & Donor Communications: Lead executive communications and donor relations storytelling, including gift announcements.
  • Campaign Enablement: Align content with campaign goals and channel execution for engagement.
  • Crisis Communications: Lead crisis and issues communications with University Relations.
