Drive a school’s communications by owning social media, content creation, and marketing materials to engage alumnae and the campus community.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the school’s social media strategy
  • Curate content for social media, the website, news posts, the website, brochures, and other materials
  • Assist with overall website management and updates
  • Assist with production of the annual alumnae magazine, including serving as Class News editor
  • Assist with video conception, production, and editing
  • Assist with development of marketing materials for Admission and other offices
  • Maintain the school archive of news items and digital images for use online, in print and on campus
  • Provide support and coverage, including photography, of campus events
  • Contribute to and commit to diversity and multicultural educational practices; demonstrated ability working in a diverse community is essential

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience with social media management in a professional setting required

Preferred

  • Some experience with photography, video production, and design software such as Canva or Photoshop
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics
  • Proactive, resourceful and creative problem solver
  • Ability to be flexible and act quickly while demonstrating sound judgment
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Enthusiastic member of the broader school community
  • Strong writing and content development skills
  • Experience with social media management in a professional setting (preferred)
