Own Katz Medicine’s marketing and communications agenda with senior leadership alignment to elevate brand, reputation, and stakeholder engagement across education, research, clinical care, and philanthropy.

Lead integrated brand and multi-channel content with KPI dashboards and audience insight.
Coordinate with the Dean, Development, and Temple Health for cohesive messaging and crisis communications.
Drive storytelling that showcases clinical leadership, research impact, and community outcomes while uniting cross-campus teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead Katz marketing and communications strategy to strengthen reputation, visibility, and stakeholder engagement.
Serve as strategic advisor to the Dean, aligning with senior leadership to advance priorities and strengthen brand.
Lead a unified marketing program across Temple University and Temple Health System to support academics, research, clinical care, and philanthropy.
Shape and execute an integrated brand, content, and communications strategy across education, research, clinical excellence, and community impact.
Lead a multi-platform content strategy including web, digital, print, social media, video, and campaigns that support strategic objectives.
Develop and maintain key message platforms and frameworks for research visibility, faculty achievements, student success, and community engagement.
Build and maintain a KPI dashboard to measure marketing effectiveness, brand perception, audience engagement, and ROI.
Provide direction for internal and external communications; lead proactive and reactive earned media and crisis communications as Katz’s school-based lead.
Oversee production of high-quality print, digital, and multimedia assets including newsletters, annual reports, event collateral, web content, and campaigns.
Elevate Katz’s clinical, research, and educational leadership through proactive storytelling and donor-engagement materials to support philanthropy and advancement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of directly related experience.
Experience leading marketing and communications functions, preferably within an academic medical center.
Experience working with marketing and communications tools and operationalizing best practices.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred

Master’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field preferred.
Experience in healthcare and/or academic medicine marketing leadership strongly preferred.
