Responsibilities

• Join JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group as an Analyst supporting the debt capital markets team in securing listings, marketing, and closing real estate finance transactions.
• This role requires hospitality and real estate finance experience while working independently to prepare presentations, financing memorandums, and asset valuations.
• You'll manage due diligence processes, perform debt sizing analysis, and facilitate client communications on technical matters.
• This position offers comprehensive exposure to hospitality real estate transactions including financial modeling, legal document review, and marketing campaigns while supervising and reviewing work performed by other analysts in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Support Hotels & Hospitality Group team members in securing listings, marketing, and closing real estate finance transactions
• Independently prepare presentations, financing memorandums, and miscellaneous reports while reviewing financial data inputs from P&L statements
• Perform debt sizing analysis and manage collection of necessary due diligence materials for new campaigns
• Complete preliminary asset valuations using DCF, income capitalization, leveraged IRR, comparable sales, and construction cost techniques
• Supervise and review work performed by analysts while facilitating closing due diligence processes
• Execute limited client-facing communications on technical level and assist in marketing campaigns including CRM management

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Business Finance, Hotel Administration, and/or Real Estate Finance
• Strong record of academic achievement
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while maintaining rapport with a team
• Strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

Preferred

• 1-2 years real estate banking and/or commercial mortgage experience preferred
• Chartered Financial Analyst designation a plus
• Hospitality-industry specific work experience with focus on finance, accounting, or valuations
• Ability to work within formal reporting relationships
• Flexibility to work after normal business hours and weekends as needed
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
