Job Summary

Drive affiliate growth for Portal by building and monetizing a distributed network of marketers, creators, and promoters.

  • Own the end-to-end affiliate network: recruit, onboard, and coordinate marketers, creators, and promoters.
  • Must-have: proven ability to build and monetize influencer networks with uncapped upside on commission.
  • Standout: opportunities to scale a live portfolio as books and projects expand.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • lead affiliate distribution for a growing ecosystem of books, media, and projects built around one idea: that self-interest, properly understood and directed, creates more value for everyone involved than any top-down system ever could.
  • build a network of marketers, creators, newsletter writers, podcasters, and promoters who believe in what they're distributing.
  • They sell, and you earn from the network you build — not just from what you personally close.
  • The ceiling is determined entirely by how large you're willing to grow it, and right now there's a lot of room.
  • Content is live, books are already selling, and more projects are coming that will give the right person an expanding portfolio to work with from day one.
  • If you've been thinking that the real opportunity in affiliate marketing is in owning a piece of the ecosystem rather than just working inside someone else's, that's exactly the conversation we want to have.

Requirements

  • You've built your own audience, network, or revenue stream — not because someone asked you to, but because you saw the opportunity and moved on it.
  • You know what actually motivates influencers and creators to promote something with conviction, and you know the difference between a partner who converts and one who just posts.
  • You connect dots quickly — between people, platforms, and opportunities — and you follow through before the moment passes.
  • You're comfortable working on commission because you back yourself, and you'd rather have uncapped upside than a salary that tells you what you're worth.
  • You understand how affiliate networks compounds: that the real leverage isn't in what you sell personally, but in the size and quality of the network you build around you.
  • You've operated independently — freelance, contract, your own thing — and you know how to move without someone else setting the pace.
  • You can look at an existing affiliate program and immediately see five ways to make it bigger, faster, and more connected than it currently is.
  • You're drawn to early-stage opportunities because you'd rather architect something than inherit it.
