Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Client Leadership & Program Management: Serve as a trusted day-to-day client contact, managing communications programs, project timelines and integrated workstreams while ensuring strong client service and high-quality execution.
  • Health Communications Strategy & Storytelling: Help develop communications strategies, key messages and content that align with client objectives and create opportunities for meaningful engagement.
  • Content Development & Communications Materials: Research, write and edit a variety of communications materials, including news releases, fact sheets, messaging documents, presentations and media materials.
  • Events & Stakeholder Engagement: Support the planning and execution of events, speaking opportunities and other stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Support and mentor junior team members while contributing to a collaborative environment where people can learn, grow and do their best work.
  • Operational Excellence: Help manage budgets, timelines, resources and project deliverables while ensuring quality, efficiency and accountability.
  • About The Role

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in public relations, communications or related fields within an agency or other fast-paced environment.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting healthcare, health and wellness, pharmaceutical or related clients.
  • Experience developing and executing communications programs that support business, brand and stakeholder objectives.
  • Strong understanding of media relations and earned communications strategies.
  • Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with experience developing media materials, messaging and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience building strong client relationships and supporting communications programs.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with experience managing multiple priorities and timelines.
  • Understanding of the healthcare and wellness landscape, including relevant regulatory and industry considerations.
  • Experience planning and executing events, media programs or stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting integrated communications campaigns across earned, social and owned channels.
  • Experience working with healthcare professionals, advocacy groups or patient communities.
  • Experience contributing to business development or new business initiatives.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and client presentation development.
