Role Overview Mesa City Lifestyle is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Account Executive to lead local advertising sales and account development in the East Valley. This is a part-time, remote/hybrid 1099 contractor role ideal for someone seeking flexible work, whether you’re a college student, recent graduate, early-career professional, or simply looking for a part-time opportunity with autonomy. It’s a great fit for individuals interested in gaining real-world sales experience, building a strong local network, and earning performance-based income. Candidates must live in Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Gold Canyon, or Queen Creek, Arizona and be comfortable meeting business owners in person. This role is focused on new business development, prospecting, and closing recurring advertising partnerships. You will have autonomy to manage your territory, build relationships, and grow a portfolio of local advertising clients aligned with our brand. Success in this role is measured by consistent outreach, new partnership growth, and the ability to build long-term business relationships within the community. Key Responsibilities Prospect and identify new local business opportunities Conduct in-person visits, outbound calls, and follow-up outreach Present advertising and marketing partnership opportunities Close recurring advertising agreements Build and manage a portfolio of local business accounts Represent the Mesa City Lifestyle brand with professionalism and authenticity Maintain organized follow-up and consistent communication What This Role Offers Commission-based compensation with strong upfront earning potential Monthly stipend for business-related expenses (gas, client meetings, etc.) Flexible schedule with autonomy over your workday Real-world B2B sales and account development experience Opportunity to build a powerful professional network in the East Valley No cap on earnings This position is ideal for someone who is competitive, self-motivated, and excited by performance-based income. Qualifications Required: At least six months of sales, prospecting, fundraising, or business development experience (including internships, coursework, or competitive sales environments) Comfortable with outbound prospecting and in-person meetings Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-disciplined and organized in a flexible, independent work environment Must reside in the East Valley of Phoenix, AZ Preferred but Not Required: Experience in advertising, media, marketing, or partnership sales Familiarity with the East Valley business community Experience balancing part-time work or school with performance goals
