Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the development of key corporate communications strategy and materials including corporate and product messaging documents, press releases, corporate and conference presentations and more.
  • Developing strong and sustainable relationships with clients across multiple geographies and appropriately manage client expectations.
  • Developing and implementing messaging across communications channels, including client social media channels, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Support with execution of earned media strategies, including building relationships with relevant media outlets and sharing client news and updates
  • Gaining and maintaining a deep understanding of client’s science, their competitor’s science, how they fit into the landscape; and provide counsel to clients.
  • Collaborating with LifeSci Communications departments, including creative and digital, to execute strategic communication plans.
  • Staying updated on regulatory requirements and guidelines related to pharmaceutical research and ensuring that reports comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • PhD strongly preferred in a relevant field of study
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience working in communications or public relations in the biotech, pharmaceutical, medtech, health-tech, and diagnostics industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and precision in scientific reporting.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines.
  • Adherence to ethical standards and guidelines in pharmaceutical research and report writing.
