Purpose: The primary function of the Account Director (AD) is to oversee major accounts and generate new business for the agency, while supervising a team of Account Executives and Account Coordinators at varying levels. They must serve the needs of their clients by acting as advisor, consultant, and problem solver, and find opportunities with their clients to generate additional revenue for the agency. This is a pivotal role in determining the success or failure of an account for the Agency. The Account Director demonstrates an attitude of leadership, commitment to the company and its overall success, and an exceptional understanding of the dynamics of our business. As the primary contact and “face” of the agency, the Account Director position has a huge impact on the perception of our company. What we stand for as an Agency, the Account Director must stand for as well, and they are a change agent for the agency to help us to continue to grow and adapt to the needs of the market and our clients. In this position, the Account Director will utilize: Leadership of Strategic & Tactical Planning Budget Management Creative & Media Strategy Implementation & Communication Client Management & Communication Strong presentation skills for showcasing media, creative & active endeavors Internal Departmental Communication Supervision & Mentorship of a Team of Account Coordinators & Account Executives Attitude of Total Commitment to Clients & their Team Supporter of the Mission of all Disciplines in the Agency Role Summary: The Account Director will act as the lead client liaison for the Agency for their specified client roster, and will serve as the Agency lead and communication hub for Internal Teams within the Agency as it pertains to their client needs. They are responsible for the daily management of the individual dealer, including development of individual client strategy/plan, financial management of client’s budget, and workflow of client needs. Leadership of all support staff for the clients (Account Coordinators and Account Executives) and their workflow, volume, and deadlines is a crucial responsibility for this role and client service success. This position reports to the Account Management Director.
