Support media relations for mental health and telehealth by researching outlets, drafting outreach, and tracking earned coverage across two brands.

Responsibilities

  • Research and build targeted media lists, including journalists, bloggers, and digital health publications relevant to mental health, and telehealth.
  • Assist with drafting and distributing press releases, media pitches, and story angle recommendations.
  • Track and log media coverage and earned media mentions across both brands; maintain a media coverage log.
  • Support outreach to podcast producers, newsletter editors, and online communities for potential coverage and partnership opportunities.
  • Draft short-form PR content including press release boilerplates, executive bios, and media-facing brand summaries.
  • Assist in developing contributed articles or thought leadership pitches on behalf of company leadership.
  • Support social media amplification of earned media placements and PR milestones.
  • Help maintain and update a PR asset library (media kit, brand facts sheet, headshots, logos).
  • Draft concise press release summaries for web publication, giving site visitors a scannable preview of earned media and company announcements.
  • Monitor relevant news cycles, industry trends, and competitor PR activity in the mental health and telehealth sectors.
