The Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine provides graduate students with an osteopathic medical education that emphasizes primary care, encourages research, promotes lifelong scholarly activity and produces graduates who are committed to serving the health care needs of communities in eastern Kentucky and other Appalachian regions.The University of Pikeville is committed to enhancing the educational, cultural and economic opportunities for Appalachia through quality academic and continuing education programs as well as involvement in community service and humanitarian efforts.
