In 2015, DeSimone added Casino Owner and Operator to his resume by purchasing the historic Railroad Pass Hotel and Casino in Henderson, Nevada, the nation's longest running casino. In January of 2017, DeSimone began construction on the Railroad Pass Travel Center in Henderson, NV. The Travel Center includes an 8,500 square foot convenience store with 20 Chevron fuel pumps, 7 diesel Semi-truck gas stations, 12 Tesla super charging stations, a truck scale, and a propane dispensing tank. There is parking for about 200 trucks, 30 recreational vehicles, and an expanded parking lot for cars.In December 2020, DeSimone purchased the historic Eldorado Casino from Boyd Gaming. The Pass Casino has been completely reimagined and joins the Railroad Pass in DeSimone's gaming portfolio. On April 1, 2021, DeSimone opened up The Pass Casino which brings increased gaming, dining and entertainment to Downtown Henderson at The Water Street District. In July 2021, DeSimone broke ground on a new hotel tower, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites South Henderson Boulder City and opened its doors in November 2022. In August 2023, DeSimone plans to open his newest truck stop, Eldorado Truck Stop & Travel Center, located just next to Good Fellow. This property will feature gaming, Sonic, Dunkin' Donuts, truck wash, laundry facilities & an industrial park. In 2024, Atwell Suites will accompany The Pass Casino.In August 2023, DeSimone will welcome the Eldorado Travel Center next door to the Good Fellow Road. Within Eldorado Pass, there will be a Sonic, Dunkin' Donuts, truck wash & more!
