Job Summary

Own the end‑to‑end customer marketing agenda for Grenade, driving trade activation across instore and online channels, with strong brand alignment and cross‑functional collaboration to optimise ROI and distribution.

  • Trade activation: align retailer plans with brand messaging and execute retail activations across in‑store and online environments.
  • Agency partnerships: manage external agencies to co-create compelling collateral, POS, and sales tools that boost on‑shelf presence.
  • Insights to impact: leverage shopper insights and performance data to sharpen campaigns, improve ROI, and inform distribution decisions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute comprehensive customer marketing strategies, both instore and online, to increase brand awareness, trial and loyalty with shoppers.
  • Work closely with the Grenade brand team to ensure the trade facing customer marketing plans are aligned to the overall brand messaging. Execute with excellence for each specific retailer.
  • Work closely with relevant external media agencies and be the front-line marketing contact for key customers in order to develop joint marketing plans to drive in store visibility on and off shelf.
  • Manage the relationship with external agencies to create compelling marketing collateral, POS materials, and sales tools to support retail activation and enhance brand presence.
  • Collaborate with category, product and brand marketing teams to create impactful sell in stories and customer presentations to support NPD launches and drive distribution and rate of sale.
  • Identify shopper insights, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform customer marketing strategies and optimise brand campaign effectiveness instore. • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, sales data, and market trends to evaluate ROI and identify areas for optimisation.
  • Responsible for managing the customer marketing budget for your specific area. Ongoing review of activities to ensure they deliver a return on investment.

Requirements

  • Experience in FMCG customer marketing
  • Demonstrate collaborative working practices with both internal and external partners
  • Experience across varied retail channels is desirable Marketing Fundamentals: Basic understanding of marketing principles, consumer behavior, and retail environments.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to collect, interpret, and present data effectively. Proficiency in Excel is often required.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to managing campaign elements, data, and budgets.
