Job Summary

Own the hands-on care delivery and rights advocacy for service users, with a clear focus on quality and rostering that includes evenings and weekends.

  • Responsibilities: Own the service quality and continuous improvement loop while ensuring rights and choices for users.
  • Roster Execution: Manage a shift pattern that covers evenings and weekends to meet care demand.
  • Team & Compliance: Align with registration and qualification requirements to sustain high standards and regulatory readiness.

  • Be flexible to work a roster shift pattern and the requirement for evening and weekend working.

Requirements

  • To fully satisfy the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) registration requirements for this post, applicants must hold an SVQ Level 2 in Social Care, or an equivalent qualification.

  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to work at a minimum of SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care. Candidates who do not already hold this qualification (or an equivalent or higher qualification) must be willing to work towards achieving it (all candidates must already hold a minimum qualification as stated SVQ2 SCQF6)
