Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Presenting short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Stories
  • Getting involved in filming at gigs, events and behind the scenes
  • Interviewing artists, performers, event teams and interesting people
  • Creating quick, engaging content around what RAMS is working on
  • Helping us build The Gap Collectives’ presence across social media
  • Coming up with ideas for new content and recurring formats
  • Filming content on your phone and working with our wider team to turn it into posts
  • Attending events and capturing the atmosphere, rather than just posting polished promotional content
  • Helping promote Collective projects, events and new opportunities
  • Keeping up with current TikTok/Instagram trends and finding ways to make them relevant to RAMS

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a student or recent graduate with a strong interest in marketing or communications
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to present confidently in front of groups
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse communities effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for engaging others and sharing information passionately
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and social media platforms is a plus
  • Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Currently studying at university or college, ideally something around marketing, media, content, events or business
  • Experience making TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts or other social content is a bonus, but show us what you’ve made rather than worrying about having a perfect CV

Preferred

  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse communities effectively
