Job Summary

Own community content and event promotion for BCWA through collaboration with staff, service managers, and partner organisations, turning ideas into shareable materials and outreach programs.

Content creation and event promotion across BCWA teams.
Collaborate with Communications to bring new ideas to life and advocate for BCWA.
Engage local groups and survivors-focused messaging to drive community impact.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Collaborating with BCWA staff to create content for BCWA communications
Preparing materials for events, like leaflets and posters and keeping these organised
Researching community groups, local organisations and other agencies for engagement
Liaising with the Communications Officer to bring new content ideas to life
Engaging with BCWA teams to promote events or fundraising drives
Collaborating with BCWA Service Managers and different teams to build content that effectively promotes services, events or fundraising drives
Thinking creatively, contributing your own ideas for content and bringing these to life
Being an advocate for BCWA

Requirements

Right to volunteer in the UK
Willingness to undergo DBS checks at the relevant level
Two references (ideally one current or last employer; one referee who has known you for at least a year)
Ability to commit to volunteering 2 hours, twice per week
