Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organisational goals.

  • Manage daily operations of all social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, and posting.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics to optimise engagement and reach.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms.
  • Cultivate positive public relations by managing online reputation and fostering community engagement.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in social media management and digital marketing tools.
  • Organise promotional campaigns, contests, and collaborations to increase visibility and audience interaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
  • Strong understanding of public relations principles and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for compelling storytelling.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to analyse data insights and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Organised with strong project management skills to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • A recognised qualification in marketing, communications or related field is desirable but not essential.
