Own the end-to-end video content workflow on site, from planning and filming to editing short-form clips and coordinating with the marketing team, while providing on-site fitter support when needed.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Create content (most of your week) • Visit live and finished projects to film before, during and after footage • Shoot selfie-style walkthroughs and talk to camera about the job, the floor and the team • Capture close-ups of the flooring, the fitting process and the finished space • Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, LinkedIn clips) on your phone or laptop • Bring all raw and edited footage back to the showroom, organised and labelled by project • Work with the marketing team on what to film and where it gets posted Back up our fitters (when needed) • Be on call 6 days a week as a reserve fitter for emergencies • Help finish off jobs that need an extra pair of hands • Visit completed projects to sort snags and remedials, and report back with photos Day to day • Look after your electric van and kit • Represent DCTUK professionally on every site and in every video
Requirements
- Essential • Confident on camera and happy filming yourself • Comfortable shooting and editing video on a phone (CapCut, InShot or similar) • Hands-on flooring experience (apprentice fitter, labourer or similar), with enough know-how to explain what's happening on a job • Happy to learn basic fitting for remedials and emergency cover • Full UK driving licence • Flexible and reliable: on call 6 days a week, with occasional weekend work (time off in lieu given) • Tidy, organised and good with customers
Preferred
- • Floor fitting experience, e.g. carpet tiles, LVT, safety flooring or vinyl
- • Your own social media presence, or examples of videos you've made
- • CSCS card
