Job Summary

Own and evolve the social media strategy across key platforms, driving engagement, brand storytelling, and cross-team alignment with PR and marketing.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive social media campaigns across various platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Manage daily social media activities, including content creation, scheduling, and posting to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Monitor social media channels for customer engagement, respond to comments and messages promptly, and foster community interaction.
  • Analyse performance metrics to evaluate the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly to optimise engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with overall branding and promotional objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the organisation at the forefront of digital innovation.
  • Manage public relations activities related to social media presence, ensuring positive representation of the organisation’s image.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply within digital platforms.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content tailored for different audiences.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, or similar platforms for performance tracking.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visual design and storytelling through multimedia content.
  • Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment.
