Job Summary

Own multi-platform social strategy and team delivery to translate campaigns and cultural moments into social-first storytelling that grows reach, engagement, and revenue; align across client accounts, roadmap planning, and creator ecosystems.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the holistic social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
  • Develop long- and short-term roadmaps that drive brand equity, reach, engagement, and community growth.
  • Translate campaigns, and cultural opportunities into social-first storytelling and content pillars.
  • Maintain an expert-level understanding of platform behavior, competitive landscape, consumer insights, and cultural shifts.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the creators landscape
  • Provide valuable insights to social media listening and measurement reports
  • Be the key client point of contact across key AOR accounts and lead the day-to-day communications across the accounts.
  • Develops accurate and timely revenue budget and forecasts that meet and/or exceed established targets.
  • Owns the scope of work process between agency and client, ensuring profitability an efficiencies where necesarry
  • Acts as a senior resource for client by providing clients with high-level counsel and strategic advice with respect to their associated brands
  • Participates in the overall organizational operations, including issues management, capacity planning, infrastructure development, resourcing, etc to support new and existing client needs.
  • Provides comprehensive and proactive communication of critical business issues (including but not limited to changes in account activities) and their impact on budget and/or forecasts to Head of Social
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the social team: SM, SSEs, SEs and Assistants on client accounts to ensure the highest quality output as well as their progression
  • Build team capabilities, create clear workflows, and establish operational excellence.
  • Set expectations, provide regular coaching, conduct performance evaluations, and develop growth paths for each team member.
  • Foster a collaborative, positive, high-trust environment grounded in creativity and accountability.
  • Work cross functionally to create workflow efficiencies to help the agency deliver to the best of its ability (ie with producers, designers and contemporary peers where applicable).
  • Continuously inspire and champion creative innovation across the team, to ensure best-in-class social campaigns being produced.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience at an agency or comparable social marketing role.
  • Advanced decision-making skills with proven ability to lead, influence, align and inspire teams, including those who are not direct reports.
  • A demonstrated skill for brand storytelling, where the brand message has to be carried alongside the demands of an audience-first approach.
  • An excellent understanding of the social media industry and platforms.
  • Have a consistent pulse on trends, pop-culture moments, and all things internet.
  • Highly organized and able to run multiple projects concurrently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
