Own day to day social media support with a focus on content creation, community engagement, and cross channel coordination to drive campaigns.

  • Manage content creation and posting cadence across platforms to grow audience engagement.
  • Analyze metrics and translate insights into improvements for content and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with PR and marketing to align on campaigns and brand messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating engaging content across various social media platforms, including text, images, and videos
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions to foster community engagement
  • Support the scheduling and publishing of posts using social media management tools
  • Analyse social media metrics to evaluate campaign performance and suggest improvements
  • Help coordinate public relations activities to promote brand awareness
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative campaigns aligned with organisational goals
  • Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform content strategies
  • Support the organisation of online events or promotions to increase audience participation

Requirements

  • Strong interest in social media management and digital communication
  • Excellent written communication skills with an eye for detail
  • Basic understanding of public relations principles and online reputation management
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas for content
  • Willingness to learn new skills through training sessions and mentorship programmes

Preferred

  • Familiarity with popular social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) is desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience in social media or public relations roles is advantageous but not mandatory
